COMPENSATION

Compensation will be a combination of a base salary and commissions. Base salary will be dependent upon experience. Sales agents who reach their sales targets can expect to make between $100,000 - $150,000 /year gross. ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time on-site role for a New Home Sales Counselor (Real Estate Salesperson) at Raymus Homes in Manteca, CA. As a Sales Counselor, you are responsible for managing sales activities within your assigned community. You will develop prospects into homebuyers by demonstrating the value of a new Raymus Home, keeping in touch through regular follow-up, and guiding them through the purchasing process. With the use of exceptional relationship building skills, a penchant for problem-solving, and effective closing techniques, you shall meet and exceed your monthly sales goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years of sales experience in any field.
  • Active California Real Estate Salesperson License in good standing.
  • Excellent face-to-face, phone, texting and email communication skills.
  • Likes to try new sales and communication tactics.
  • Extremely organized and a master at time management. Knows how to use a CRM to leverage these skills.
  • Knows how and when to follow-up; keeps good communication with lead pipeline.
  • Jumps out of their seat to greet and meet new customers.
  • Curious and asks questions - always seeking more information about our customers and from other experts in the field.
  • Not a “yes person.” Does not try to make everyone happy but has the moral compass to treat everyone fairly and represent the Company with integrity.
  • Desires to be an expert at the craft of selling new homes. Raymus offers a lot of options to our buyers. The Sales Agent must know our floor plans and options like the back of their hand.
  • Follows the golden rule and treats others how they want to be treated; must care about the buyer and not just consider them another "sales number."
  • Knows how to turn problems into opportunities.
  • Proactive and not reactive.
  • Good with the internet, apps, and tech things generally.
  • Is a student and knows how to take direction but also can be a leader. Has the ambition and desire to manage/teach other people.
  • Must have clean driving record / be able to be covered by Raymus Homes Vehicle Insurance Policy.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
