Raymus Homes' COVID-19 Reponse

COVID-19 Response

Passport Model Homes are Open by Appointment

In order to provide an ounce of calm and consistency during this hectic and anxious time, our sales team will still be available by phone, email, and text daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We’ve added a few cool, new rules for touring so we can keep you and our sales team safe:

1. Don’t tour if you’re feeling sick.

Know your body. Even if you think it “might” be allergies or the common cold, please don’t risk it and visit our sales office.

We miss you already but promise that once you are feeling better, we can use a combination of virtual and in-person tools to demonstrate our homes and bring you a little bit of cheer in this seemingly gloomy moment of time.

2. Set an appointment.

At this time, we are only allowing one group to tour a model home at a time. We realize it might be inconvenient for you to wait for another group to wrap up, so we’d like to offer you the opportunity to set an appointment so you can have the models to yourself. Not only will this provide a safer tour but it also might even give you a better idea of what it would be like to live in a Raymus home…

Call or email Arika and Preeti – our sales warriors – to set an appointment. Tours are available from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. They can be reached at 209-275-1483 or Sales@RaymusHomes.com.

You can also schedule an appointment to tour on our FB page. Check it out! https://fb.com/book/raymus/ and select “Passport Model Home Tour”

3. Sanitize your hand upon entering the office.

As soon as you walk into our sales office, we will ask you to sanitize your hands. It’s nothing personal – again, we just want to make sure we are providing the safest experience possible for you.

4. No touchy.

You can look, but you can't touch it.
If you touch it, I'mma start some drama,
you don't want no drama!

Woah…sorry…turned into Fergie there for a sec…

We are asking all our fans who tour not to touch any surfaces in the model homes. Although we are disinfecting daily, this will further protect everyone AND…you can even turn it into a fun game! Like pretend the surfaces are hot lava or that they will “zap” you if you touch them! Obviously, doorknobs aren’t included – you still need to get in and out of the home – and we are disinfecting these surfaces between tours. Speaking of…

5. Daily dose of disinfect.

Our models are being completely wiped down and disinfected daily as part of our opening procedure. We’ve been cleaning to OutKast - Ain't nobody dope as me, I'm dressed so fresh so clean (so fresh and so clean clean). What’s been your go-to disinfecting jam?

Besides the daily disinfect, we have upped our regular Wednesday deep clean.

HUGE shout out to our cleaning team at Custom Maids and for all the cleaning professionals out there. We always appreciate you but during times like these, we are reminded how essential you are to our team :)

6. Maybe it’s actually best not to tour at this time…

Some of the main factors that informed our decision to keep our models open by appointment were:

  • To keep our staff working and out of the unemployment office.
  • To support auxiliary companies – like our trades and cleaning staff – and keep them working for as long as possible.
  • To provide an escape / distraction from some stressful and depressing realities and provide a source of relief.
  • To not interrupt the schedule of those who already had planned to tour our Passport Collection models.
  • To ensure homebuyers could “re-visit” the models if they had questions or if potential buyers wanted to take one more look at something.

That being said, we also need to be responsible.

It may be best if you visit us online instead of in-person so we can all do our part to #FlattenTheCurve and #StopTheSpread. Here’s what we’ll be rolling out in the upcoming weeks so we can provide you with our signature Raymus Homes treatment…virtually!

  • Video tours of our Passport Collection model homes
  • A much-needed update to our Pinterest so you can start to browse designs and save them to your board
  • Website bulk-up (no protein needed) including a web chat feature so you can chat us straight from the site
  • Addition of NterNow to more homes so have more independence and control over your tour
  • Creation of Matterport tours for our model homes

7. What else can we do?

Seriously…we want to be there for you all the time AND especially right now. If you think of another way we can be of service or you have an idea on how we can improve your *virtual* homeshopping experience, please don’t be a stranger. We want your feedback – good and bad!

Please stay strong. We’ll do our part to keep you entertained. I know you know this, but we will all get through this. Right now, let’s just put mind over matter and keep washing those hands. To repear one of Arika’s favorite quotes, “This too shall pass.”
